Data protection is a matter of trust and your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy governs your access, use and testing of KNOIN including the services made available through or in connection with such application
(collectively referred to as “Portals”). This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, and share Personal Information that we obtain about you through the Portals.

In order to access certain features of the Portals, you must provide certain personal information about yourself. You may voluntarily submit, and hereby authorize us, our employees, agents and others operating on its behalf to use
and/or disclose, personal information about you, including, without limitation, your location, name, address and contact information and other information that is either requested by the Portals or voluntarily provided in order to enable you to access, use or test the Portals, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We gather and use Personal Information about you through the Portals as described below. “Personal Information” means any information about an identified or identifiable individual.


1.1 We will collect information which may include your actual location, name, address, contact details, payment details, PAN Number, Aadhar Card Number, contact numbers from contact book and other personal information that may be offered on the Portals from time to time.

1.2 In order to access, use or test the Portals, you may be required to create an account by registering with an email address and password.

1.3 We may use the contact information you provide to us to communicate with you, including through e-mail communications, mobile text messages, in-portal messages, and push notifications. For example, we may use your email address, phone number, or other information that you provide to us (i) to contact you to verify your email address or phone number; (ii) to contact you for administrative purposes such as customer service, to respond to your inquiries, to manage your account, or otherwise provide user support; and (iii) to provide service-related messages such as notifications, confirmations, updates, and security alerts. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent to send you marketing communications by electronic means.

1.4 We also collect content and information that other people upload when they use our Services, including but not limited to information about you. We also collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content you view or engage with or the frequency and duration of your activities. We will keep your information for as long as we are either required to by law or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.

1.5 We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily submit such information to us, by using our Services or by filling out a form or survey.


2.1 We collect information from or about the electronic devices or other devices where you install or access or test the Portals, depending on the permissions you’ve granted. We may associate the information we collect from your
different devices, which helps us provide consistent Services across your electronic devices.


3.1 We use procedural and technological security measures that are designed to safeguard your Personally Identifiable Information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We may use
encryption, password protection, and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your Personally Identifiable Information. 


4.1 A cookie is a small amount of information sent from our server to your electronic device. We use cookies when someone logs into Portals, to maintain that login session and to retain login information, if requested. We do not use cookies to track your Internet activity before or after you leave Portals. Any activity while you are at the Portals may be tracked. We do not use your IP address to identify you personally.

4.2 You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you do that, you may not be able to use some features on the Portals. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to or access, use or test the Portals. Please note that our advertisers may also use cookies, over which we have no control. Please remember, cookies do not contain confidential information such as your home address, telephone number or credit card details. We do not exchange cookies with any third-party Portals or external data suppliers.


5.1 We do not share, sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties. We may, however, share or disclose your Personal Information with one or more entity as follows; 

i. any members of our group, which includes our affiliates, subsidiaries and branch offices, to which it is reasonably necessary or desirable for us to disclose your Personal Information in order to carry out the above mentioned information processing purposes.

ii. service providers who perform services on our behalf. When we work with service providers, we require them by contract to only use or disclose the Personal Information they process on our behalf as necessary to perform certain services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements.

iii. if in good faith judgment, we believe it is necessary to:

a. investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations;

e. prevent or stop activity we believe to be illegal, fraudulent, abusive,
unethical or legally actionable;

f. detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, the security or integrity of our Portals or equipment used to make the Portals available, or any other technical issues;

g. take action regarding suspected illegal activities; and

h. protect our rights, reputation, and property, or that of our users, affiliates.

iv. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your Personal Information may be disclosed and otherwise transferred to an acquirer, or successor or assignee. Should such operation occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the acquirer to use your Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Following such operation, you may contact the entity to which we transferred your Personal Information
with any inquiries concerning the processing of that information. 

v. In any other ways when we have your consent to do so.

vi. We may also use the information or statistical data that does not identify you with Portals users and third-party partners for reporting purposes e.g., to derive or report on traffic flows.


6.1. The Portals may include links to other portals, including links provided as automated search results. These websites may operate independently from us. Linked websites may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review if you visit any linked websites. Some of these portals may contain materials that are objectionable, unlawful, or inaccurate. These links are provided for your convenience only and we do not endorse any advertisement, products or other materials available on these portals or the Services they provide. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable for the content or accuracy of these other portals. The users are requested to verify the
accuracy of all information on their own before undertaking any reliance on such information.


7.1. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy in the Portals, our portal or site, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we make any material changes
to this policy, we will notify you of such changes, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective.
